Registration - ADULT LEAGUE SPRING 2026
ADULT LEAGUE SPRING 2026

WELCOME TO THE 2026 SPRING SEASON OF CHA ADULT LEAGUE!!!

LEAGUE STARTS Sunday, January 18th and runs 11 games pluis playoffs. This **should** end the season the week of May 3rd, as there is no way I'm scheduling games on May 10th, Mother's Day. There will be morning games only (2 on each side) on SuperBowl Sunday, and no games on Easter. Each team will have a bye week due to tournaments, high school hockey and Roughrider games. ONCE YOUTH HOCKEY ENDS THE FIRST WEEK OF MARCH, ALL WEEKNIGHT GAMES WILL BE EARLIER..

Wondering where you fit in? Read the descriptors and find a spot that's right for you. If you register for a league that is below your skill level, you will be moved up.

F LEAGUE (2 Wednesday night games) is a learning league for emerging skaters who possess the basic skills for skating, but may struggle with carrying the puck, making passes and taking shots. Very little physical contact occurs, but accidental collisions occur because players haven’t mastered controlled skating.

E LEAGUE (2 games Sunday, Foxes on Wednesdays) is a league for players who are comfortable on their skates, and are beginning to exercise skill at positioning and teamwork, but are still working on stick handling and crossovers.

D LEAGUE (4 Sunday, Polar Bears on Mondays) is the correct league for players with intermediate hockey skills. Typically players have high school experience, and are comfortable with a fast paced game and are able to keep up with the game and control it at times.

C LEAGUE (Mostly Sunday games, each team will have 2 Monday games) is the correct league for players with above average hockey skills. Players are comfortable with a fast, physical game and are here to have
fun at a fast pace.

A/B LEAGUE (Mostly Sunday games, each team will have 2 Monday games) is the league for advanced players. Play is fast and physical (although checking is not allowed). Players have excellent control over skating, passing and shooting and are rarely out of position.

THIS IS A NON-CHECKING LEAGUE. Players who consistently draw checking and other dangerous penalties will be asked to leave without refund.
